What does the Advisory Board?
The procedure of the scientific advisory
board:
- From February 1st. Three or more
reviewers will judge your proposal on scientific quality. At least
one of the reviewers is from abroad
- March 24th - April 1st. You will
get notice of the opinion of the reviewers and you will be invited
to respond
- April 17th - May 1st. The reviewers
will give their definitive opinion
- May. Two members of the Scientific Advisory
Board will evaluate your proposal and the opinion of the
reviewers
- June. The Scientific Advisory Board discusses
these evaluations in their meeting
- Subsequently, the proposals will be classified
on the basis of the scientific judgment of the
reviewers
- Then, the Board evaluates the proposals on the
basis of their social relevance and in agreement with the research
emphasis area policy of the Arthritis Association
- End of June. The highest rated proposals, on
the basis of all criteria, will directly go to the management of
the Arthritis Foundation with a positive advice. The management
will take the end decision
July. After this, the project leaders
will get notice of the decision made
